The recently-introduced Mistral Touring-kit, from New Zealand motorcycle luggage and accessories specialist Ventura, has a capacity of 47lt, and thanks to the latest thermal moulding techniques it keeps its aerodynamic shape, even when it’s empty.
The bag is held in place on your pillion seat by the matching rack. When you want to take a pillion, simply mount the bag in reverse, so it sits over your bike’s tailpiece, supported by the rack.
The pack is made from 1680-denier ballistic fabric, and Ventura says both it and the bag’s zippers are water resistant.
Some water may get in through the stitching, apparently, but Ventura also makes a matching storm cover to keep the drips at bay.
Ventura says the rack system is easy to fit and the bag comes with pockets, shoulder straps, and a padded carry handle.

Distributor Kenma says these Aussie-made Oggy Knobs represent cheap insurance for your motorcycle’s bodywork and/or engine cases. The crash protectors are made from impact-absorbent and abrasion-resistant Acetal plastic, while the brackets are made from high-tensile steel for maximum strength.
